No Room in the Inn 2006
photograph mounted to brushed aluminum
About the Work
This image reflects the issues of access to accommodation, development versus revitalization and the universal need for shelter. Finding shelter crosses the parameters of geography, time, culture and species, and yet it is a conundrum that we struggle to find solutions to housing problems around the globe and particularly in one of the top cities in the world with 'the best quality of life.' It is apposite that this fundraiser takes place in the winter. This piece was realized through the generous sponsorship of Piet Weert, Owner, Metal bendz.
