About the Work
Nemeton is a Celtic word for sacred places in the forest. Come with me and gather around. Lost souls we have become! Find us a sacred space in the forest of trees. Step inside the canopy. Protect, love and nurture us. Our home it has become. We have found our nemeton. This painting is dedicated to the homeless who live in our ravines.
About the Artist
Michelle Threndyle - a 1984 Ontario College of Art and Design graduate - worked several years in the advertising industry before deciding to venture forth with her own business, Innerlight Visions. Established as an art designer, she creates murals, interior home finishes and privately commissioned art pieces. Michelle's paintings reflect a more personal level, where she intuitively applyies herself to create sacredness and personality.
